When you want a blade that features both style and functionality, check out the Celtic Sailor’s Seax. It combines Viking and Celtic style. Made from Damascus steel, this functional Celtic dagger features a sheepsfoot blade, typical of seax daggers.
The full tang seax continues with the wooden handle. Brass pins secure the handle in place. Along the underside of the handle, there is a concave curve near the blade, and a gentler curve along the rest of the handle. These curves provide a more secure and comfortable grip. The handle features an engraved knotwork design. It includes two triquetras, or three-pointed knots.
Finally, this Viking dagger comes with a brown leather sheath. It secures the dagger with a snap and strap. There are two loops for hanging the sheath horizontally from a belt, not included. You can add the Celtic Sailor’s Seax to your historical reenactment gear or add it to your weaponry collection.
