The grip, inspired by Viking broadswords from history, is wrapped in leather over shaped wood. The grip also has grooves for an ergonomic hold. Beneath the grip is an ornate brass pommel with intricate knotwork and a notched bottom frame. The solid brass guard, fashioned in the likeness of two horses facing one another, protects your hand from slipping onto the blade. The horse heads have intricate spirals in the design resembling their glorious manes and hair.
