Black Circle Tsuba Katana

The tsuba, or guard, was typically the most ornate part of a samurai sword. Crafted by hand and with a blade made of carbon steel, the Black Circle Tsuba Katana is a remarkable display weapon with a unique, circle-shaped tsuba. The circle shape has cut-outs, leaving just the black outline of the circle around the base of the brass blade collar. The handle has a white, faux rayskin texture with antique gold tone menuki, or palm ornamentation, all under a black cord wrapping. The narrow, slightly curved blade has a fuller along most of its length, and it can be stored safely in the included matching black scabbard. A black cloth cover, that goes over the Japanese sword when in its scabbard, is also included for further protection.
