Blue Gem Thistle Sgian Dubh

Scottish folklore tells of the importance of the thistle, and to this day it decorates crests and coats of arms. In homage to Scottish history, the Blue Gem Thistle Sgian Dubh sports a silvery Scottish thistle emblem upon its handle. Made of black composite material and textured with crisscross lines for a firm grip, this molded handle is attached to a stainless steel spear point blade. Slight serrations along the back of the blade, near the hilt, lend utility and interest to the dagger. A silvery band detailed with thistle designs is set at the top of the hilt, and a matching band appears at the pommel, encasing a faceted, oval shaped blue gemstone. Ornate thistle detail decorates the ends of the included black composite sheath.
