Pine Crane Katana

Pine trees and red-crowned crane are symbols of power in Japanese mythology. The Pine Crane Katana features both mighty designs. Made from T10 high-carbon steel, this functional Samurai sword has a curved blade, typical of Japanese swords. It features a visible temper-line and mirror finish.

Then, it has a silver-colored blade collar before the bronzed tsuba. A red-crowned crane and tree design adorns the tsuba. The sword continues with a traditionally wrapped handle. Black cotton wraps around the white same grip. The handle has silver crane accents.

Finally, this sword comes with a brown textured scabbard, or Saya. It has a dark grey and copper cord wrapping near the top. The cord wraps around a black matte and shiny striped section. Take this sword with you to the battlefield. You can also add it to a sword collection.

Often used in wedding attire, the red-crowned crane mates for life, as you may choose to pair this Katana with the matching Pine Crane Wakizashi (SD35300), sold separately, to create a daisho.
